Nominations for Club Officers – Get Involved!
It’s that time of year again when we begin accepting nominations for club officer positions! Serving as a club officer is a wonderful way to contribute to the success of our club, help guide its activities, and ensure that our radio community continues to grow and thrive.
Here’s how the nomination process works:
Write-in Nominations: Members may nominate themselves or another club member for any officer position. Simply write in the name of the person you’d like to nominate.
Eligibility: All members in good standing are welcome to participate—whether you’re nominating someone, being nominated, or just interested in the process.
Officer Roles: Positions typically include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and other roles depending on our bylaws. Each role is important in keeping the club running smoothly. If you think there is a role that we need to incorporate, let us know!
Encouragement to Participate: Don’t be shy! Even if you’re new to the club, serving as an officer is a great way to get more involved, meet more members, and share your ideas. If leadership isn’t your thing, you can still play an important part by nominating someone you think would be a good fit.
By stepping up—or by nominating someone who inspires you—you’re helping keep our club active, fun, and strong. Together, we can continue to make this a welcoming place for everyone who loves radio!
