Winter Field Day Cancelled Due to Weather

After careful consideration of the latest forecasts and projected conditions, NETRC has made the decision to cancel the following events in the interest of safety:

• **Winter Field Day**

• **Amateur Radio License Testing**

• **The scheduled club meeting**

The safety of our members and the community we serve is our highest priority. With the potential for severe weather and icy road conditions, we strongly encourage everyone to stay off the roads and remain in safe environments.

Over-the-air participation is still encouraged where possible, as maintaining communication during weather events is a core purpose of amateur radio.

If you or someone you know needs assistance with emergency preparedness — including guidance on communications, monitoring conditions, or general readiness — please do not hesitate to reach out. Our community is strongest when we look out for one another.

Any information regarding rescheduled dates will be shared once conditions improve and it is safe to do so.
